PMSK: Shymyo

Everyone knows that Shyguys come from magic Toy Boxes, but not all of these boxes are the same. In a far removed corner of the pipe maze under Spire City, Mario finds a Toy Box of a different caliber; a feudal world with a Japanese flavor. He drops in in a backyard, and is quickly called to report to the head of this household, the Shymyo. After Mario proves himself by dispatching a stealthy group of Ninji, the Shymyo promises to introduce him to the Shygun, the lord of the whole toy box, whom Mario thinks may have another segment of the Keystone Bridge. The Shygun is insulted, though, that the Shymyo would bring Mario to him, and excommunicates him from the SamuGuy chain of command. Bitter and homeless, the Shymyo asks to become Mario's retainer, to help him bring down the corrupt Shygun, to regain his self-respect as a warrior.

Cutting Stroke: With one katana, the Shymyo can deliver a disabling slice to an enemy with low Defense.
Cross Strike: With both katana drawn, the Shymyo can literally leap through walls, tearing them apart like so much paper in a cheap pop-up book! In battle, the Shymyo can use this to pierce an enemy's armor, doing no more damage than Cutting Stroke, but with no armor penalty.
Body Switch: Using a special trick of the Ninji, the Shymyo can replace himself or Mario with a dummy for enemies to attack in their place.
Unmasked Slash: When the Shymyo takes off his mask, you'd better run and hide, because bad things are about to happen.
